FAQ

How do I use this tool?

Enter an integer Unix timestamp and choose seconds or milliseconds. Select Unix → ISO to see UTC and local time. For the reverse conversion, enter an ISO date with Z or an explicit timezone offset.

What does timestamp 0 mean?

It represents 1970-01-01 at 00:00:00 UTC. Your local display can show a different date or hour.

Why must the ISO value include a timezone?

A timezone such as Z or +09:00 removes ambiguity. Local formatting uses the timezone configured on your device.
